A Day At the Park/Train

We met with some friends to ride the Forest Park Mini Trail and then had some fun at the park!

Poor Lili....She had to deal with all those boys!!

We celebrated Cade's 1st birthday on Saturday. He seemed to have fun, but had no idea that the party was for him!

Since it was too cold to go outside (and they both had pink eye and a double ear infection) we had to parade around the house in our new wagon!

Jace loved helping Cade open his presents on his birthday morning.

That night I made cupcakes instead of a cake....it didn't matter to Cade....the frosting is all he cared about!

Snow Day

We had record snow yesterday. Jace couldn't wait to go outside and play in it! Cade could really care less, but didn't want to be left out either! Here are a couple pics of yesterday and today.

Jace looks like he REALLY wants to pelt Cade with that snowball!!

Last night, Jeremy went outside AGAIN with Jace. Since Jeremy is from Nebraska, he said that this snow was not conducive for making a good snowman....I said, "Who cares, just make one!!"

Cade is sticking to the non-snow areas, but is happy just watching!

We weren't quite finished with our snowman, but Cade was DONE with the snow. The only reason he is smiling is because I just gave him an M&M!

Lots of Milestones

We've been very busy over the past several months! We've had several BIG milestones happen with the boys...Jace is FINALLY potty trained and Cade is just now starting to take is FIRST steps. He is up to 6 now and loves to chase after Jace!

Jace had a Thanksgiving Feast at his school! He was so proud to show off his place mat!

Jace and Cade love each other so much! I am so glad they will have one another to play with!

Jace had a Christmas program at his school and the "clan" came out to watch!

Too bad we had to watch the back of his head the whole time! He is so shy...I wonder where he gets it?

Christmas Eve we went to my Dad's house. Jace is really into Lightening McQueen and so he was very excited to get a Lightening McQueen bike, helmet and knee pads!

Cade loves any type of ball! He can throw it, fetch it, and will carry them around in his mouth....I think he spends too much time with our dogs!!

Jace's potty training kicked into high gear when it came to making Santa happy. Good thing Santa delivered some good gifts!

We were even blessed with some snow and had a white Christmas. Cade enjoyed it too, but in this picture, I couldn't hold him and take pictures at the same time, so he just watched from the window!

This was Jace's favorite part of making cookies for Santa(eating dough)...Cade's job was to test the chocolate chips to make sure they were good enough!

Cade is 11 months (Jan 10) and is starting to discover his walking skills. He takes more steps everyday!
