Last Christmas Stop!

Our last Christmas stop was Grandma and Grandpa's. Jace loves hanging out will all the kids. He even stopped to give Daddy and Grandpa some love!

Having such a big family, it's nice we can all get together (well, most of us). Even though we are missing some, we never stop thinking about them!

Putting the final touches on dinner. There are certain people who always make certain dishes....I hope that never changes!

Over the River and Through the Woods to Grandma's House We Go!

Jace loved being at Grandma's, but got tired of opening gifts after awhile. He was a pretty good sport though!

I think his favorite gift they got him was a suitcase. They told him to bring it over to Grandma's when he wants to spend the night.....Really? How does Tuesday sound!?!

Jace was all ready to go....you don't have to tell him twice!

Well, he got sidetracked again! He went upstairs to play with Grandma and would look down every once and a while to see what was going on.


One of the gifts that Jace got was a stick horse, but he wasn't quite sure how to "ride" it. Jeremy decided to show him some moves....Jace (and the rest of us) thought that was the funniest thing! I do have a picture of Jeremy riding the horse, but I'm saving that for blackmail!!

Next stop.....My Grandma's!

Christmas Morning-our house

I always take a picture before the madness begins!

He was not sure what to think, so he came and hid behind me!

Aunt Sandy came over to join in the fun! Jace thought he would nuzzle up next to her until he could figure out what in the heck was going on!

Jace loved his new bike! It's a Cars one!

Jace finally decided that he would settle down for a bit and see what was in all those boxes!

Forget the boxes....there is a kitchen? He was so A.D.D. that morning. He would go from one thing to the next!

But wait...is that a vacuum I hear?! I told Jeremy NOT to turn it on yet, but I guess he didn't hear me! From that time on, I don't think it's been turned off except for nap time!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to my dad's house to celebrate Christmas. We a family as big as mine, it's nice to be able to spend time with everyone without feeling rushed. Jace had fun opening his gifts. He was very neat about throwing away the wrapping paper after tearing off each piece.

We got my dad some picture frames and Jace is having fun looking at all the pictures of me from when I was little.

Christmas Lights with Captain Sandy!

Aunt Sandy won a bus to look at Christmas lights from the Silver Spurs Gala. We took our whole family and some of our closest friends! We had a BLAST!

Jeremy's Aunt Janie came to visit before Christmas. Jace and Aunt Janie were modeling some Christmas hats!

Dinner Party with Friends!

We had our monthly dinner club with our friends, but this time the kid's exchanged gifts. It was so cute to watch them open their presents and see their reactions!

Jace loved his Thomas the train bath set! He couldn't wait to take a bath and play with it!

Afterwards, we went to Prairie Lights. Jace LOVES lights and always asks to see more. He was in light heaven! The funny thing is that all the kids fell asleep except for Jace and Brock, who was sitting in the back with the dads! Jace loved getting to sit up front with me!!

Chick-fil-A Work Party

We decided it would be fun to take our employees and their families to Jumping Party of Fort Worth for our Christmas Party. They had a blast goofing off and playing around. We brought Jeremy's younger brother, Jared, to help Jace have some fun too!

Well, maybe he's NOT mine....

If you know me, then you know that cleaning is NOT one of my favorite things. If I have to clean, I try and procrastinate as much as I can. If we could afford it, someone would be cleaning the house for me...well, as long as I'm not a perfectionist, Jace will do it!! :) In fact, he would rather clean than take a nap! He didn't get those cleaning genes from me!

While he was "cleaning" I was told to just sit and watch! That's my boy! He did request that I take several pictures of him in action!!

He even knows how to turn the Dustbuster on and off and really does try hard to pick actual stuff up! I wonder how long all this "fun" is going to last!! Maybe his next love will be mopping floors!!

When I got out of the shower this morning, this is what I saw.....

Jace had put on my socks and shoes and was parading around the house. I couldn't help but laugh and run to get my camera! (Yes the shoes are on the wrong feet!)

Cookie Monster!

I've been craving cookies lately, and Jace LOVES helping me make them. Nothing else....just cookies.

We are working on our helping skills....there have only been a couple times where he poured half the ingredients on the floor and half in the mixer! At least I didn't have to start over this time!

Tonight we made sugar cookies....Yum! Jace loves licking the batter!

Doesn't want to miss a single bite!
